45th Annual Buckshot Run

Waiver of Liability

I understand that participating in a physical event may involve risk to my health. By choosing to

participate in the Buckshot Run, I certify that I am medically able to participate. I agree to waive all legal claims against L.E. Phillips Career Development Center, the City of Eau Claire, and/or any other parties and/or organizations involved in organizing and/or overseeing this event, for any harm (personal, property, and/or financial) resulting from my participation, including, but not limited to: harm I claim to be caused by any failure to exercise reasonable care in managing the event (negligence); personal injuries or damages that may occur while traveling to or from the event, while participating in the event, or while on the event grounds; and/or effects of the weather on the date of my participation. I further understand that this event will be held on public roadways and sidewalks and agree to use reasonable care for my own safety.

Marketing Release

By registering and participating, I grant L.E. Phillips Career Development Center and its agents the exclusive right to use my name, image, voice, and/or likeness in any marketing materials (promotional, advertising, illustrative, publication, and/or broadcast), in any and all media, and with no additional compensation to me. L.E. Phillips Career Development Center will have and retain any applicable intellectual property rights in such materials, and I waive the right to inspect and/or approve such materials prior to use.

L.E. Phillips Career Development Center does not sell any registrant or participant information to third parties and does not otherwise use registrant or participant demographic information except as listed herein and other than for the use of servicing the event and/or completing registration.
